Applicazione pesante posso rimuoverla?

Ben ritrovati, sbirciando nella sezione "Gestione Attività" ho notato un applicazione (credo di casa Asus marca del mio PC) che consuma la bellezza di 1.258 MB! Il nome è AsHookDevice for USB Lock 32 ho dato un occhiata in rete e da quel poco riportato in un paio di siti stranieri viene descritta come applicazione per la sicurezza del PC ma non legata al funzionamento dello stesso, qualcuno sa dirmi di più e se posso disinstallarla? Grazie

Come immaginavo, per quanto l'applicazione in se stessa sia sicuramente molto utile, in un PC da base come il mio non la vedo fondamentale e poi può sempre essere ripristinata, grazie mille a presto ;-)
